Swami Dharma Sumiran

“We are beings in whom eternity is located in time.”

Sumiran (born 1969, Voronezh, Russia) is a renowned Russian teacher and mystic in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta and Zen, initially trained as a nuclear physicist and psychologist.

At the age of 21, Sumiran spontaneously experienced profound, consciousness-altering states, after which he traveled to India and Nepal for several years to visit masters of various traditions and integrate his inner experiences. Driven by a fervent inner longing, he then spent many thousands of hours meditating on the “Void” in front of a white wall. In 2006, a profound awakening occurred in his consciousness.
