Gangaji was born Merle Antoinette Roberson in Texas in 1942. In 1990, during her spiritual quest, she met the Indian master Sri Poonja (Papaji). At his feet, she recognized who she and everyone else truly is. Since then, her life has been dedicated to this realization. At Poonjaji’s request, she shares her realization in the form of public gatherings.
